TURN UP THE HEAT (2021)

 OFF SHORE  exhibition

Burning fuels such as kerosene has significant environmental consequences that contribute to both local and global ecological degradation. Kerosene, a petroleum-based fuel commonly used for heating, lighting, and aviation, releases a range of harmful pollutants when combusted.

One of the primary byproducts of burning kerosene is carbon dioxide (COâ‚‚), a greenhouse gas that traps heat in the atmosphere and drives climate change. While kerosene produces less COâ‚‚ per unit of energy than coal, its widespread use still adds significantly to global carbon emissions. Incomplete combustion also releases carbon monoxide (CO), particulate matter (PM), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs)—pollutants that degrade air quality and pose serious health risks.
