RAINBOW BREEZE
OFF SHORE exhibition, 2025
During the Vietnam War, the U.S. military used "Rainbow Herbicides"—Agents Orange, Pink, Purple, Green, Blue, and White—to destroy vegetation and enemy cover. Agent Orange, the most notorious, contained toxic dioxin, leading to severe health issues like cancer and birth defects for both Vietnamese civilians and veterans.

In the 1960s, Agent Orange and Agent Purple were also tested at CFB Gagetown in New Brunswick, Canada. The spraying contaminated water sources and raised serious health concerns for local residents and military personnel. Decades later, its lasting effects are still being revisited in legal and governmental discussions.
